前回のアップデートがリリースされて３月ぶり。トップ・サイトで使用しているテーマ LENSA が Version 1.0.5 でネットショップ機能をサポートした。アップデートに昨日気がついて、1.0.5 にしたばかりでしたがアップデートできるまで何度かトライする必要があった。1.0.6 で不具合がフィックスされて、スムーズにアップデートできるように改善されたようです。
優れたテーマなので、そのままでも不満はない。実のところ、テーマを導入して最初にパラメーターを変更しては観た。その時は反映された様子が感じられなかったのだけど、こうしてフィックスされるようになるとテーマはこれで、定着してもいいと思える。テーマの Download は Colorlabs
プレミアム・テーマですから、アップデートには実行しているサイト・アドレスの登録が必要。
又、アップデートの前に Colorlabs にログインしている方が処理が早い。サインインができていないと、サービス側にテーマを格納したフォルダが認識されないのでアップデートされません。今回のケースでは、ユーザーネームではなく登録メールアドレスでログインするとアクセスエラーにはなりませんでした。アップデートの日付が、５月25日となっているのは・・・ご愛嬌でしょうか。
テーマのインストール、変更は一旦、Twenty Twelveを有効にしてから。
WordPress のテンプレートへの変更が反映されない。そういう問によく出会います。今回のように、 LENSA をアップデートする場合も、上書きで更新するので無しに一旦一旦テーマを「Twenty Twelve」に戻してから、改めてテーマを LENSA に適用する事が、反映がしやすいものなのでしょうね。
