前回のアップデートがリリースされて半月ほどで、トップ・サイトで使用しているテーマ LENSA が Version 1.0.7 にアップデートしていた。その内容は『Twitter widget API』の最適化。アップデートに昨日気がついて、半月経過していた。
今は企業サイトでも、ツイッターに書き込んだことをわかるようにしている。ブログさえ、常時更新といっても通常一日数回だろうから、Twitter を活用して親しみと、いつでもコンタクトしてくださいね、という如き安心感を感じさせる効果がある。
Twitter や Facebook といった SNS をサイトに導入できるプラグインは随分ある。
これからはテーマ自体が予め備えた機能としていくだろう。テーマの Download は Colorlabs
プレミアム・テーマですから、アップデートには実行しているサイト・アドレスの登録が必要。
又、アップデートの前に Colorlabs にログインしている方が処理が早い。サインインができていないと、サービス側にテーマを格納したフォルダが認識されないのでアップデートされません。今回のケースでも、ユーザーネームではなく登録メールアドレスでログインするとアクセスエラーにはなりませんでした。サイトのキャッシュの影響かもしれませんが、アップデートされていても『更新が完了しました』とならないで何度もトライしなければならなかった。
テーマのインストール、変更は一旦、Twenty Twelveを有効にしてから。
WordPress のテンプレートへの変更が反映されない。そういう問いに良く出会います。今回のように、 LENSA をアップデートする場合も、上書きで更新するので無しに一旦一旦テーマを「Twenty Twelve」に戻してから、改めてテーマを LENSA に適用する事が、反映がしやすいものなのでしょうね。
